I can chime in here as I have experience on all the discussed quads. The YFZ is a dialed in race ride, very tight suspension and handling and fast when RPM's are high, but very fatiguing on the trail for those same reasons. The Raptor 700 has much more bottom end power and not quite as firm suspension but the handling and power I thought was sooo much better the the old 660 they aren't even comparable. I just bought the new Outlaw 525 IRS and I would say it is the fastest out of the box but I don't like the IRS. I feel it is poorly designed and mine is showing several frame cracks after 6 hours of riding WTF?? I have owned 10 quads in my life and never had this happen before. I love the KTM motor and plan to sell the OUtlaw and get the new KTM 525 for duning. My favorite trail quad is still the DS for long trail rides because it is still the most comfortable, fast quad I have ridden. Hope this helps. BTW PM me if you know someone who wants a good deal on the 07 Outlaw 525. It is still under warranty!</end quote></div>
If you are talking about the paint crack on the rear upper shock mounts common problem it is not the frame but the paint both my Outlaw did it clean up the paint and repainted it have no more cracking.

I got to sit on the DS (Back in the Summer) and fired it up, but was not allowed to ride it... Anyway it was real smooth and very comfortable, and I will tell you that the look of it in person is much better than pictures convey...

Hey BOMBSAINT, I see you're from Ohio, and Ohio sucks for getting a test ride. I did however get to test ride a quad a couple of years ago at "street track and trail" over in Meadeville, Pa. They had a little play area next to their dealership. They sell just about everything too. Look them up at stnt.com and give them a call, see if they still do it.
