Default Drain Plug

Got a call from my buddy who owns a 03 DS650. When he went to do an oil change he went the wrong way to remove his drain plug. Stripped it out. He was finally able to get the plug out but now he has to figure ou how to fix it.

Does anyone have any suggestions????

Default Drain Plug

The same thing happened to one of my DS650s.

I had the local can-am dealer install a brass insert replacement plug and it even had a magnet on it.

Default Drain Plug

automotive supply stores and some bike shops sell kits for stripped drain plugs, take the plug to these stores and have them help you match it up with the appropriate kit. its not hard to install at all, stand the bike up on grab bar and remove the skid plate, and follow kit directions. $10-$20 for the kits
