Default Ds650 exhaust tip

I was thinking about getting the e-bay one, just concerned about how loud it is, I ride south jetty occasionally as well as huckleberry flats, both in Oregon and both of them have a db max.

I'm hoping to get a trip in next month to South Jetty, I'm in Veneta so it's a pretty quick trip. Is there any aftermarket exhaust, slip on or full system that meets the 93db?

in all honesty i have never seen a after market exhaust that meets the db limit i got check with my stock end cap and like i said it was at 91 or 92 just barely under the limit but i mainly ride winchester bay and there is seldom a ranger out there and if there is there in a truck/suv so its pretty easy to climb to the top of a hill and laugh at them >.<

Hey guys, reviving an old thread. I was just searching for information on the EBAY tip I saw today. Do I need to re-jet the carb on my 06 Baja if I just install the tip and nothing else? Thanks for the help.

No, you don't need to re-jet.
I have a used Pro Circuit T-4 slip on, for $125 if anybody is interested. They are just over $300 new.

Thanks for the help! I think getting the tip is the easiet for me since I would need to keep the stock tip and change it out when I go to places that have db requirements. From what I read here, the cheezy screen on these tips wont suffice as a spark arrestor, especially here in Kalifornia. I figure I can keep the stocker on hand and swap out if there is an issue.

I have made a few of these for the guys in Oregon, I use the muffler from a Honda F4i. Runs real good and tests in the mid 93's for sound check. Just an other option you can do yourself if you wanted to.
