Hey Noodles, as a matter of fact I do have the billet end cap off of Ebay. I haven't had any other aftermarket exhaust on my DS and haven't had it on a dyno yet but noticed a huge performance increase with this tip. It's about the cheapest HP increase I've found for DS's. I would highly recommend it if you want to go cheap. And yes it gives it a sweet, deep, throaty sound to the DS but it's not as loud as my buddy's 400ex white bro's exhaust which is a good thing. Get it and and you'll enjoy it.

Are you guys running with or without the packing & Baffle?
My packing got dismantled during the inspection and install, so it, and the baffle got yanked. Now, if I turn my head and rev the engine, I feel like I'll go deaf in under a minute - It is actually painful loud.
Needless to say, new packing and the baffle need to go back in.

At first, I ran the tip with the baffle and the muffler packing removed. I noticed a power increase compared to the stock tip, but it was just too loud. I bought some FMF 4-Stroke muffler packing and re-installed the baffle to find that I couldn't get the screws in it (Yes, the baffle was perfectly centered on both ends). I ground down the tail end of the baffle until I was able to put it properly on and get the screws to fit.
Wow! Running the new tip WITH the baffle and FMF packing gave me more torque down low (easily pulls the front wheels), but kept my new found top end without breaking any eardrums (It has a nice throaty growl to it now).
I couldn't be happier.
