I am afraid I have nothing in terms of any new DS650 replacement....Now that the DS is being sold I think they have some other areas they would like to address. Couldn't tell you if there will ever be a DS 750-800...I think they have been selling Renegades at a similar clip to the DS 650, so they may not see a need for another sport.

i heard there is a ds 800 out there but it is a little over powered, guess it is in a similar frame as the 450.

I wouldn't doubt there is somthing out there for investigative purposes, I have not heard of one, but knowing Can-Am and all the ideas they tested with the 450, you could make a good case for that.

Heck, I could see people buying the Altec frame and doing different motors in that. Nice light chassis I'm sure some fabricator will get his hands on one and start to play....The best part is if you jack a piece up, you can just order up a replacement piece....

well there is a source in central oregon that has been as reliable as any and they told me there is a altec frame 800, guess it is kind of hard to control, imagine that. not sure what the market for that kind of quad would be.

TPR - You never answered my question from a post a while back. . . what do you do that you get the inside track on things?

Bomb has yet to impress me on the 450. . . is it even at the dealer's yet? Kinda hard to give Honda a hard time about being slow to market or respond when KTM has already got their quad out and sold (wasn't it released AFTER the Bomb?)

I predict the Bomb will have fewer units sold than the KTM - I'm just an average Joe so, I'm not getting my info from someone else or anything. . . I just think there are so many loyal KTM guys out there that are hankering for an Orange quad that they are going to keep the units moving off the shelf as quick as they arrive.

Bomb on the other hand is tapping into a new market (let's face it, the DS big boys aren't going to trade in their big couch 650 for a little rocket wiht a hard seat anytime soon!)

It will be interesting!
