Just purchased an extra flywheel for my ds650 and I am looking for someone to lighten it up.I don't know whats involved so could someone help with finding someone,price, how much to remove and whatever else is involved! thanks!!!

 

give eric a call(mr horsepower) 270 334 3331....
its like 250.00 and he takes about 2.5 lbs. off....
thats about all you can safely remove....

 

I had rath racing lighten mine rath did a good job on my predator so I let him do my ds also. Its works!

 

can't a machine shop do the turn down

 

Thebom did mine. Fast turn around and very reasonable.

I think he cuts the stator too.

 

WOW, How would you hold it together after cutting the end off ??? It's a pressed and sealed type unit. Looks like it would sling apart with out being re crimped???? Plus re balancing it for zero balance.

 

Thebom did mine too and did a very good job. Fast turn around and good price.
