Increase ground clearance for the DS?
Epic ran 25" Holeshot ATR's on their desert racers and they worked real well. You do want to gear down as stated but I can tell you that in all reality, the size of the DS really benefits from the larger tire.

Actually I work at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Barstow. Retired in 29 Palms and get back there on weekends to see the family. Doing the same thing I did for 20 years of active duty. Just don't have to get the weekly haircuts now, and no more of that damn physical training at 5 in the morning...
