Dirty Jobs - off Topic
#24
Watched it off the recorder today. . . wasn't nearly dirty enough!
So, what's the most Dirty job you've had?
I've dug-up the opening of septic tanks - nasty
Un-clogged drains with an elec. snake - I hate that splash you get off of it - you know what it is!
Worked one summer putting a multi-layer roof on a K-Mart - very messy! I was brown with dust, sticky with sweat - chicks were diggin' me!
Oh, anyone ever been to a Rendering Plant? Didn't have to spend much time there but, had to take a shower as soon as I got home!
Not meaning to hi-jack the thread - just thought this may get interesting?

duneme, i would not a really dirty job but it is dirty.
i would have say some of mine dirty jobs would working with cows during the spring when they are have a calf and it is raining out, or scooping out grain bins when it about 90-100 degrees out with good ole nebraska humidity. that are some of my dirty jobs. but in my honest thought of rons job it would be hard work walking through the fields flooded and doing the canberry roundup by himself would be hard.

What really impressed me was the story of just leaving one career and jumping in and creating a new one from the ground up and doing so successfully. I have great admiration for someone who has the guts and the determination to create their own way in the world. We need to encourage it and recognize it when it happens.

If I could add to that. . .
It IS ok for someone that works hard and makes their way in the world to actually make money too. I think there are a lot on these forums that would say, "Good for You!" when someone does well but, elsewhere there seems to be a belief that those that do well don't deserve the wealth they created for themselves or that they owe it to everyone else to give away all their hard work.
