Replacement battery
#1
Since I bought my ds ive had problems with the battery, it was always kinda weak and I took it back to the dealer a few times but they wouldn't replace it, just charge it and give it back. kind of a crappy deal.
Anybody know where to get a replacement battery for a decent price?? thanks in advance

I'm sure someone will chime in and give you a link to the guy who sells them on E-bay.

I run the PC545, and it has been an awesome battery for me. I have had some issues when it's really cold (below 25), and I've read about people in the extreame cold bad mouthing the PC545, perhaps for good reason. If you ride where its relatively warm, there is no better batt. I'm on year 4 with mine, it has run completly dead, and litterally 10 seconds on the jumper cables from my truck and it fired right up. I'll be getting another when this one goes.

I looked into the PC545. It seems to be the best and what everyone likes. However, before I got one, I tried a $16 Wal-Mart and it has worked for two years so far. I know it is not as good therefore I wouldn't got to Glamis or anywhere too far from help with it.

Freebird and fatholly, assuming you didn't get or need the battery with the metal jacket? probably not a lot of heat in the stock location, exhaust is far enough away
