anyone know what the 08 500 utility tops out at for speed

i would say around 50 but i dont know i never ridden one

Probably closer to 60, maybe low 60's. I've not ridden one either but my Eiger can hit 56 on a long straight. The 500's got a lot more engine (plus it's a Rotax) and not too much more weight.

Mine is a Renegade 500 instead of Outlander, don't know how much difference that makes, but mine can do 68. Stock bike w/ K&N.

Count on 60+ mph easily and since its a twin the motor will be comfortable doing it also. I do 55mph easy and the 500 Outlander is a faster bike.

My wife's 500 Outlander will run 65 mph, with me on it, and pushes 70 with her little butt on it. It gives my 650 a bad time staying ahead of her.

I have had my 07 500 Outty 2 seater up to 63 mph, with just me on it. That's according to the speedo
