Wow, I'm surprised you don't like the Barnett. I love mine, it works great.
And to answer the original question, the clutch is really easy to replace, 1)tip the DS on it's side 2)take off the clutch cover 3)take off all of the 6 clutch spring bolt 4) Take off the clutch disc pack 5) slide the clutch discs on in order 6) slide springs back in 7) Most important step, torque spring bolts back on to Spec. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THEM, THEY BREAK VERY EASILY, I MADE THAT MISTAKE MYSELF, so make sure you do it right. 8) put the clutch cover and necessary things back together and you should be good to go. Good Luck!

Mine did the same thing, but it did go away after a few hours of ridding and a oil change. Love it know hooks up beyong belief.

thanks guys !!! i will say call the bom hes way cheaper then 270.... btw i may wait to do the clutch when i do cams piston and a head job that will be performed by the bom . i just have to take it easy the next few weeks cause the clutch is getting worse has problems slipping and going in gear under load . is it a good idea to change the oil to help the slipping problem till i change it ..the oil in it is getting pretty dark !!
