make sure u look it over real slow and easy, ur gonna be naturally excited to just look at it, test ride it, buy it and take it home lol, but every little detail is important when buying used, i didnt pay attention and got one with a bent frame, so just baby step it lol, good luck tho!!!

Everything went very smooth. Looks really good, Front Tires are maybe 10% worn (90% left). The original rears had about 75% left. Oil was clean, it started and ran as it should (Throttle response is really immediate!). The gas in it is a little questionable (Doesn't smell quite right to me), so I am going to dump it and start fresh. The studded tires look like something out of a horror movie (very sweet).

Paid a mere $2350.00! I am extremely happy.

Now onto this screen in the black oil tank - where is it, how do I remove it to check it and what should I be looking for?

Thats a killer deal... the oil screen is on the round part of the oil tankup front. When looking at the bike there is a hose and a plugged nipple. The nipple is to drain the oil (have fun with that one), after draining the oil remove hose, then unscrew the barbed end... oil screen is on the other end.

That is exactly whaty I told the Mrs. I could NOT pass it up.

The seller was more into his drag Banshee and had just bought a house (Closed last Friday), so he needed the money for those. He had visions of turning the DS into a 4 cylinder sport bike drag quad (Not a Bombusa, but same idea). Instead he bought his first house and decided to sell it. I'm glad he did...It is a blast.

The most important thing you need to look for is being able to stay on the quad when you nail the gas real hard. (LOL)
