thanks ace....but 42 mph seems a bit high for 2nd gear...im not too sure that thing is acurate in 1st-4th gear speeds

anywhoo,...i just placed an order to ron woods for a 14tooth front sprocket,...i give that a whirl and see if i like it,.i may go back to the 15 tooth with a 42 tooth rear sprocket

 

Ouch, you should have orderend the 14 counter shaft from Rocky Mountain for 10 bucks. Hope the 14 works for you.
