Default Yost Power Tubes for Mikuni carbs

http://www.cas4.com/yost/yost-power-tube-02.htm

Has anyone heard about this atomizer? I didn't know if it
just atomized in mainjet range, the whole range, or just
for CV carbs. They advertise for Harleys, but I thought
the carbs used for DS650 were the same as used for Harleys too.

Any information would be appreciated.

Thank You

Default Yost Power Tubes for Mikuni carbs

The Yost Power Tube uses the "Trotts" method. It is a controversial delivery system that supposedly "Runs" more smoothly. It "Squirts" the fuel instead of "Dumping" it into the intake ports. Nothing is more prone to foul plugs than "Wet Gas".

The Yost power tube has a pre-charge tube located at its base.
This tube increases the velocity of the fuel and atomizes earlier.
Then enters the second chamber as a precharged mixture that gets emulsified a second time because the larger tube has a different size, that also has a different pressure causing the fuel to be atomized into even smaller particles.
They are very difficult to machine and were designed for large HD motors.
