I installed a ron woods cdi and now at 70 mph the bike shuts down until I back off the throttle just like ithas a rev limiter.I have a lectron 48 dual power jet carb,ron wood full exhaust and the ron wood cdi Is the lectron giving to much feul or not enough.I never noticed the problem before because I thought it was the rev limiter coming on,but now I have no rev-limiter.Any info would be greatful.

 

had the same problem on my 03 but i have the stock carb, i put a bigger jet in it (185 i think it was) and it went away. Hope this helps.
