Ron Woods exhaust for 2009 Outty?
#1
Thinking of getting the Ron Woods exhaust for my 09' Outlander ( DG racing said it would have a gain of 7hp) . Do I need to get a programmer or can I just install it and run? Also, is this system very loud? I do some hunting and would like to keep it to a minimum.

The '09s are out? They just introduced them 22 days ago. Usually they take some time to get to the show room floor (like around August), let alone into the hands of the aftermarket people.

I would imagine you would have to get a programmer but this is just my take. And if it increases the power that much, it must be a pretty loud exhaust system. One question, why would you need all that extra power?? The new 800R already has more hp than the Arcticat 1000!! This means it has almost 70 hp which is A LOT, ESPECIALLY FOR AN ATV!!

Had XTR's on my 06' Brute force and loved them. We do side by side mud racing here and I will run 26X8X12's on all 4 corners. I'm getting 4 stock front rims and I will only run them when I race. As far as the 09' XT I will be getting it within 3- weeks according to my dealer. Sold my brute last week. Can't wait to try out all that power!!!
