OKay, new problem, NO SPARK!
Is there anything to check, fuse, reset, anything??? I have all the plastic off but the fuel take, I can't see any disconnected wires or anything. This very well could be why it didn't start at all yesterday as well.
I did change the needle and seat, and the orings that were available, checked the checks to make sure, again, that none were plugged...
Damn I need a book!

Looks liek the CDI is the Denso unit(stock?)
Here is what I have found so far:
Battery is 12.5v
Coils test at 0.8 ohm each, book says from 0.3-0.5 @ 65 degrees
Trigger coil is testing zero ohms, but I am going to pull the stator cover off to insure I have the right wires because the colors dont match up completely(spoda be grn/yellow and blue, but the only 2-pin dietz connector I can find has grn/wht- blue/yellow
I tested the power supply to the CDI and it is good at 12.5v
Here I go again....

I know these are probably dumb questions, but are you using new spark plugs? Did you check the fuses? Have you tried pulling in the clutch and seeing if that makes any difference? The Denso is the stock CDI, and they rarely fail. Have you checked the regulator/rectifier?

Not dumb questions at all!
Yes, new spark plugs installed(no spark, I even held one while cranking in case it was too bright to see the spark)
Fuses checked, both good, double checked with continuity gauge
Pulling in clutch makes no difference, yes, I tried
Have not come across a test yet for the regulator/rectifier
It is weird, EVERYTHING works, except the sparking bits...
I double checked, and the connector I was testing is the trigger coil, so I will check and see how much those are.

Well, at least you can comfort yourself with the fact that the bike only cost you $1,200.......
Seems like there is a good chance that electrical was your problem all along, and not the carb or jetting. If you end up needing to get another CDI box or another rectifier, use the "what's in your garage thread" to make a request, and there's a good chance someone will have spare ones laying around that they might part with for a reasonable price. Please post how it all turns out, as I am always trying to learn something that may come in handy later. Good luck!

Well, the carb was the problem at first, no doubt inmy mind about that, the needle valve didnt seat and it was leaking gas all over, and the inside the carb was a brown varnish mess. but it ran.... I pushed it to the back yard, then nothin...
I trigger coil is 97 bux from the dealer, and they have to order it.. I will check the garage section and see, thanks!
