Still no reliable word yet on the sxs... Sounds like about this time next yr to the end of the yr release. They want to make it rite and be the fastest,biggest,baddest one out there. It would be a good time to release the 1000 [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

WOW! Could that be because of the dollar?

 

I haven't seen prices of ATV's go up yet but, everything else is.

I hear steel is up 70% since the start of the year.
Everyone knows how fuel prices are up.
The other day in the paper Dow Chemical said their raw material costs were up 45% from last year. I sell industrial boilers and we typically have one price increase a year of around 3%. . . We've seen price increases of 3% followed by 9% increases. The icing on the cake is the shipping costs have gone crazy.

Hopefully this settles down. A stronger dollar will help inflation but, it may hurt the economy in other ways.

 

My only complaint with the standard 450 DuneME is the riding position. I have been looking into a riser and am glad that this would be an easy fix? Night and day difference- i can hardly wait to upgrade.

 

I hope the Riser Bars work out as well for you and the bikes I've ridden.

I believe you will be very happy with them. Give us a report once you get a ride in with them.

 

the new ds 450's are awesome, it would be even better if they made a 2 stroke version of it

 

Well heres some good info and pics of the new model DS's. Click HereThey are looking mean! Now all Can Am needs to do is get their butts in gear and get on the Big Bore Train again. Raptor 700r's are the #1 selling ATV's for a reason and we need a new DS to compete.

 

They are on the EN-CA site from can-am. I don't know about the EN-US.

One question though, ARE the a-arms welded? They don't look like they were forged ='( *screams and hides in corner*

 

Damn, they come in WAY below the price of the KTMs and it looks like the shocks are better than the KTMs, too. It looks like the A-arms on the MX are not aluminum like the XC and regular model.
