carb mods help

Default carb mods help

I have a Ds 650 , and just finished modifing the slide as perthe instructions. i drilled 2 additional holes as well as opened the exixting up to.125.Ihave the dynojet needle in the 3rd groove from the top, air box snorkle mods lid on.

When I sart the bike choke engaged,it dies after about 3 seconds.won't start at all with choke off.anyone else have this problem ??

My guess would be that it may have something to do with the slide. Make sure that the rubber boot doesn't have any tears in it. When you put the slide assembly back in, make sure that the little rubber half circle on the boot lines up with the half circle on the top of the carb (right next to one one of the bolt holes.) Make sure that the boot is lined up correctly when you put the top of the carb back on, or it won't get a good seal. Good luck.

Problem solved. Had the needle washers on in the wrong order.
