no not golden..i never did anything yet..this is the stuff im dealing with ..one minute it drains battery and the next it works perfect....i still havent checked anything

ok update...
tested reg...no sound
stator....made sound
female end on reg plug...red got pos and black got neg..key on ..12.60v

im going back to unplug all those things if i can find them....and start quad and then replug them in and read meter...

dont know what is what...im done...found tail and head light plugs ..thats it...tried them///12.69 to start and them plugged them in and it went down and plgs head lihjt in and it went dowm more..turned on highbeams went dowm even more...shut em off went back up...nothing...cant take it anymore
