2006 DS650 seized (don't know why)
Well here is the verdict from my mechanic, I am a moron It turns out that the engine was not seized at all. My mechnic simply put in a new battery and it fired right up. The weird thing is I put in a new battery just three days before the ride that the bike died on. I was not riding the quad when it stopped but basically what was described to me was that the red light came on and it just died. When we attempted to start it it clicked, but the click sounded more like it was actually trying to engage unlike the fainter click when the battery is actually low. The other fatal error I made was in trying to pull start it in 2nd gear. My buddy weighs 250+ and pulling him on the DS at about 15mph just dragged the rear tires. It never occured to me that it has so much compression that it would not pull start unless in 3rd gear. The bottom line is I am happy that it is not seized but I am still wondering why the battery died after three days suddenly. My mechanic is testing the charging system and will let me know. This was a pretty humbling experience for me and I realize that the new quads are a little different than the old school type; especially 4 strokes.

If I remember right you take off the hose on the bottom of the oil tank and it's there where the hose goes into the tank.
