Look like I will have to sell my2000 DS; OMR 730 kit OMR cams 4. Lonestar A-arms Fox Flots. ODP water pump and +2 swing arm custom Air box 05 plastics. is $5000. too much?

 

This has been a popular topic recently, and for some reason, it always seems to get someone upset. The following is only my uneducated opinion. You have two things working against you: 1) the DS 650 is a niche bike, for which there is not a lot love out there (too big, too heavy, blah blah blah), and 2) the market for all toys is in the tank right now. I have two reasonably nice DS's, and if I was needing to sell them, I would probably be lucky to get $5,000 for BOTH of them. Some people would believe that is even way too much, so I am glad I like them and don't have to sell. Yours is obviously a nicer bike with lots of expensive upgrades, but $5,000 may be a bit ambitious. Best of luck on the sale.

 

if I recall correctly Scooby's Turbo bike barely brought in 5K- ya that was pretty sad- but a sign of the slow economic times we are in.... not a good time to be selling anything.
