I had the jug off my ds650 so while i could i replaced the old style oil inlet(the one on the back corner of the jug where oil goes into the engine) with the new style one that has a breather outlet thing, so i put a hose on the breather part and routed it up to the handle bars, my questin is where is the hose supposed to go? does it connect somewhere or just get left open?

 

It goes into the oil tank, if it's what I think you're talking about. You have to replace the oil tank with a newer style as well. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

Where is the fitting on the tank, could i not just drill and tap a new nipple into the tank? or could i put a T connection in the line that comes from the valve cover?

 

Could i get someone to check on there new style and tell me if the hose connects to the tank above the oil level or below the oil level? Thanks
