Anyone need a new cooling fan contact me.I'll save you about $50 than from buying from bombardier.And yes they are brand new and the exact same fan brand and all.

 

Just had a long conversation w/the company SPAL makers of our cooling fans.They place a 1 year warranty on the fan.However,Bomb places a 6 mos. warranty on the bike so bombs warranty supersedes the manufactuars warr.!!!But the best part is the fan is specific use(DS650)and SPAL stated that if the bombardier chooses to use a fan not within SPAL ratings and applications then they won't warranty the item if it shows severe use(broken internal components).Period.Basically he is saying the fan was not made for the high stress that it will recieve on our DS's.(heat,vibration)Buy a replacement from bombardier and your warranty just went to 30 days.I'm looking at a way to reduce the vibration w/some rubber mounts which were recommended and not using the mounting bolts to the frame.Then place the plastic zip ties to mount with.Direct frame mounting increases the vibration.My fan cost me $110 delivered.You can buy a non-waterproof model for $13 less.
