There already is one. It's called Ds days, held every year at St. Anthony dunes in Idaho.

Well you're partially right scrambler, DS days is somewhere different every year. We switch between, St. Anthony's, Sand Mountain Nevada, Little Sahara Utah, and maybe Dumont. This year it's right in my backyard at Little Sahara so I'm pretty exited about that. It should be a heck of a time.

Well, you're partly right SilverBomb!LOL We will never be able to host it at Dumont. It's been agreed upon awhile back that we would hold true to the Labor Day weekend tradition, and Dumont is well over 110 degrees anywhere around Labor Day.
It has rotated between St. Anthony's Idaho, Little Sahara Utah, and Sand Mountain Nevada. We tried to vote on hosting it at Glamis or Dumont but that would require a mid winter time frame. Not many wanted to use their Christmas vacation or winter holiday time for DS Days so we left it on Labor Day. Most folks have four or five days off around then anyway and only those of us here in California would have to have the kids miss a day or two of school seeing as to how we start in August.
Anyway...
BigCquadguy, you are more than welcome to come join the festivities that have been going on for five or six years now. It's a helluva bunch of good folks and some of the most extreme builds you will find anywhere. Dune season is winding down for us West Coast folks but August will be here before you know it and we'll all be rolling into Utah. Come home and then get ready for the big Kickoff Weekend at Dumont the first weekend of October. Another great group of peeps there also.
We'll see you there. You know how to contact us to arrange the convoy to Litta Sahara.

If I remember correctly we had 27 or so lined up at Little Sahara a couple of years ago. My pics from the past three DS Days are on another computer or I would be able to count them up for you. All I know is that it was a damn thundering herd when we rolled out on rides!
Great times, tales, and rides were had by all...

Ace - we better check ahead of time and make sure there's a "Big Juds" nearby in case Silverbomb gets hungry.

Nah, there's no Big Judds, but there is a burger joint in either Delta or Nephi that have good food. I don't think I'll ever attempt the Big Judd ever again.

Thumbs up

Ya, the funny thing is that even though it is Ds Days, a lot of us have moved on to other machines, LOL. It still is and always will be about the people
