Default tach on 2000

I bought a tach from an 07 model and want to hook it up to my 00. I know were the power and ground go but the green wire goes to the cdi. Where exactly on the cdi does this get spliced into. Its a Big Gun cdi. If someone even had a picture or something that would be awsome. thanks

The green wires goes to the coil - not the CDI. The coils are under the fuel tank, above the radiator. There are 2 of them - you can use either one. When I installed my tach on my 2000 i put a ring terminal on the wire and just put another nut on the coil to hold the wire on.
