hey guys i was wondering if some one could give me a hand with my ds. i was riding it one day all fine and then the next day when i went to start it it wouldnt start and founf there to be no spark not even the one sprk you get when you turn the key on, so i put in new plugs but still no good. i recently just changed the CDI and reg/rec so it shouldnt be that and i cant see both coils going at the same time and i also checked the mag ant it also seems good. I have the shop manual at home and i have gone through almost everything in there trying to figure out why i have no spark short of replacing the coils and i still cant figure it out. I have also noticed that my red overheat light is on almost all of the time so i think this could be the problem, i checked the where the wiring conects to the temp sensor and its fine when i try to start the bike it turns over no problem but no spark and the red light will turn dimmer and then about 10 -15 mins later it will light right back up withought me touching anything so i am at a stand still and i need some suggestions please

 

did you check the ohms on the stator?
