THe CDI is located on the left side under the gas tank cover just behind the handle bars. 20" paddles do not work well due to its size and weight of the DS they tend to just dig in. 22" 8 paddle haulers are probably the best all around dune tire for the DS. With the taller paddles you'll also want to gear down by changing the front sprocket to a 15T. I believe you can get front sprockets through Rocky Mountain ATV or Ron Woods Racing. You'll also want to go with taller fronts to keep your steering geometry in-line. 23" up front would work best but 22" will work as well.
