Default How much to sell ds 650 for

As it turns out I might be forced to sell my bike in order to pay for school. It is a 2004 ds650 Baja X, low hours and good condition. List of parts:
-TM 45, K&N air filter, EHS racing airbox lid, Trail tech Vapor speedometer/tach, Scott stainless steel oil filter, Maxxis razr 2's all around and a HPR ported intake.

Any estimates?? thanks, Dave

Somewhere between $1500 and $2500. You'd be better off returning it to as close to stock as you can and selling the bolt on's seperately.
Where it's located comes into play also. Dune season is over until October for most of us Left Coast folks...

I saw one go for $3k in Florida on ebay, but it was a 0 feedback member, so prob a scam winner, i put mine up and sold it for $2400, but like Ace said, take off all your accessories and sell them separate, only way ur gonna get any value from them back. I tryed sellin my black/orange Baja and it didnt sell, i wouldnt take less than $2500 cause id make more parting it out with all the powdercoated pieces.

I agree, take off all the aftermarket parts and put all your stock parts back on. Its worth more in stock form. Dont ask me why. The 04X seems to be the most popular model. I know the bottom has dropped out of the DS re-sale market, but I would think you could get more than whats been stated already. I would try to get 35 to 4 out of it. Maybe just wishful thinking.

I just sold my 04 Baja X last week for $4000 but it had ~$3K in mods. I crunched the numbers on what I would have potentially got for all the parts figuring about half what I paid up front I would have re-cooped $1500. Stock DS's around here aren't going for much more than $2K-$2500. I figured with all the time involved to put it back to stock, deal with shipping and exchanging of $$ it wasn't worth my time to maybe make an extra $500.
