So anyway I was thinking of moving up to a 250 now, looks like nice used ones be it Honda or Suzuki are selling around the $2500-$3000 range. I priced out a new Honda 250ex and they list at well over $6000 plus pdi.
The Suzuki they had on fof $5400.

well if you like the auto's, I think looking at the arctic cat 300 (I think it's a 300) is a good idea. It has good power and a nice easy tranny I've heard, Idk anything else though.
Another suggestion, don't count out the BLASTER! You can get then for waaaay under $1500 often in triple digits, and they have more power than all the modern 250's. They turn well and are just great machines, I'd keep my eye out for one of them if I were you.

I know I don't get it. I paid $5800 up here for a Yamaha Grizzly/Kodiac 350 in Jan and it's a lot more quad. The Honda salesman was telling me how much his cash price was and I couldn't believe it.

This 250ex is geared higher then the '05 Honda Recon my father has. It's a semi auto with reverse that will work great for the kids and last them many years.
