ds 650 head torque
#3
37 ft/lbs - main stays
20 ft/lbs - outer waterjacket bolts
Use a good torque wrench and go around alternate bolts in a criss-cross fashion. Do not overtighten! Pay special attention to the waterjacket bolt closest to the timing chain as it is a common spot for failure. It tends to backout when you tighten the small hex screws on the outside of the cylinder. Make sure you go back and check it after tightening the outer hex screws

Also make sure all the studs are coated in oil before you start to torque down. Those torque specs are based on them being oiled. Not a bad idea to replace all the nuts with new ones while your at it. Eric (OMW Racing) can set you up with some good replacements.
