Default DS big wheel project finally finished, pics inside

Still debating if I'm going with 25's in the rear. The ride is so incredibly smooth, I can't even begin to describe it, she just rolls over stuff like it's a stroll through the clouds. I ended up just a bit over 56" wide up front. The reduced front braking really isn't that bad at all but I do have a Hayabusa master cylinder with a seperate line going to each caliper. Of course this setup drastically reduces the versatality of my DS but man does it excel at one thing, going wide open in fifth through just about any kind of terrain as long as it's wide enough! The irony is now I have a west coast setup although I live on the east coast...

Dude, that looks like a dream ride. Perfect for the deserts here out west in Utah. That would be so much fun to have that set-up here. How did you do the wheels to fit the DS? I'd love to run 24inchers in the rear and 26 up front, what a riot!

I had the hubs machined down to a 4/110 pattern and then ran Douglas red label 12x6, 4+2 offset wheels, I am running them reversed so they are 2+4 offset.

Yeah I run 23" up front and 22 in the rear. big difference over stock but had to redo both sprockets so low end wasnt slow.

I've actually got mine geared 16/35 with 22's, pretty tall but the 730 handles it pretty well. Triple digit speeds are nice though!

I think it looks pretty good, but bigger rear's would make it look even better.

Yeah, I'm still tossing around the idea of 25/12-9's
