Default NEW OWNER....NEED INfO

Rear axle bearings going out. First question will a new swing arm fix this problem? Second question.....will a 2005 DS 650 BAJA X swing arm match up will a 2002 DS 650 BAJA swing arm? Also i have alot of back firing going on when decelerating...I do have a BIG GUN QUITE SERIES EXHAUST but this is BACKFIRING i don't think it the normal way its suppose to sound. Any help would be appreciated on any of these questions. Also some1 told me to get moroso to beef up my octane rating....any1 heard of this?

THANKS I'm sure I'll have alot more to ask

Unless your swing arm is shot, why not just put new bearings in the axle carrier? putting a used one in probably has used bearings, so you may need to fix that as well. The backfiring on decel is common with aftermarket exhausts, you are a little lean on the idle circuit, try opening up the mix screw a 1/4 turn at a time until it goes away. If you have to go over 3.5 turns to get it to stop, you may need to go up one size on the pilot jet, then start at 1.5 to 2.5 turns out and see how that goes. If you are lean on the idle, you should check your plug after a good run to see if you are lean on the top end, may need to jet up your main as well.
