I'm not sure if they are the same. I was hoping to see one from a DS just so I know where the problem of hitting the tank is.

Just reinforce the front bumper, then you won't need brakes. :-)
Yea! That will add some extra weight for sure! I'll just weld a chunk of I-beam to the front of my bike. ha.

Maybe just take some pictures and explain to me what part hits the tank?

Alba has a very nice one and a half inch bar riser....works perfect.

I just measured my 04. The bolt holes are aprox. 1.25 x 2.5 inches

I will tackle that project soon, first I need to get the brakes working and and the front spacers made so I'm ready for dune season.
