Default Damn frame broke

OK, i have been defending my outty 06 to all the doubters, but it happened to mine. The freakin think completely seperated in two places. In front of the foot supports, and behind the foot supports, thanks to my skid plate, it didn't break in half (literally) in the woods. Although I love my machine, Can Am should do something for us.

Man, that stinks. Have you contacted CanAm or your dealer? I read up on the CanAm frames and did the frame modification with a UHMW plastic insert. It just seemed like it came up too much to not do it. I agree with you. Although Polaris machines are heavy, to me it is worth it to get the extra strength in the frame. My son really likes his Renegade. I just hope the frame mod. is enough to protect it. I may get him a full length skid plate for Christmas. Hope you can get your machine back together.

I'm curious if the frame had any damage prior to being equipped with skidplates? When I've seen outty frames break it has been at a point of prior damage even if it was just a very small dent or ding. I don't recall ever seeing one break in a pristine section of frame.
