Default DS650 air box with 2 carbs options?

I just bought a 2002 ds650 and man does this thing scoot, i love it. My question is, a previous owner added the 2 carb Keihin 39mm CR39 kit and when they did that, they took out the stock air box and put a UNI foam filter on each carb. Lots of times the places I ride have water sitting on the trails in places and I worry about sucking some water up into the carbs. Does anyone know what my options are to add some kind of air box to this or should I just make some kind of deflector out of lexan or something?

well you could run some pvc pipe off the carbs and put the filters higher up under the seat. the problem will be having to rejet if you restrict it too much if it was jeted for the filters it has now ... i wonder if a air box for a banshee would work??

I might check into a banshee air box, I forgot about them having 2 carbs stock.
