I got a new DS70 for my daughter and it seems that the cvt will not fully engage even at full throttle. The problem is not with the throttle limiter. When I picked it up from the dealer the salesman said it had a "spacer" in the cvt that the shop could remove for $40. Supposedly this spacer is there for beginner riders.
Has anyone heard of this spacer? I pulled the primary cover off and disassembled the the whole cvt setup without finding anything that looked like it would cause this.
Any insights would be appreciated!
