A little info, the neutral light on the bike was working and then started to flicker. A little later the light went out totally, I checked the wiring going to the bottom right side of the motor or should I say the indication coming from the motor to the indicating light. The wiring was good and I had 12V going into the light, I appeared to me that the light is supplied 12V and it finds it's negative through the motor when the bike is in neutral. After deaming the wiring good and the connection on the bike was good I looked at the indicating light. The lighs are LED's so they should work for a lot longer than incandescent lights. Removed the light from the dash, I had to seperate the green cover from the lights white base which is a royal pain. The light contains an LED and a resistor that is soldered to the connectors for the external wiring. The connection from the resistor to the connector was broke and simple solder fix. Long story short the light is back working.
