renegade stuck in 4wd

renegade stuck in 4wd
i have a 09 renegde let a friend borrow for a weekand and it was a really muddy area and now the 4wd is stuck in and ive open the switch up nothing appears to be bad but i have checked ohms or volts im really sure where to start could someone help
