Default Anyone try combo paddles before?

Has anyone tried a combination paddle on their DS yet? I was at St. Anns the other day and seen a Honda 450 with 25 inch 12 paddle combos. He was running 6 haulers and 6 gliders. He said they give full benefit off of take off with all 12 but when he hits the hill and starts to float it cuts him back to about a 7 or 8 paddle for maximum speed. I've never seen them before. I'm running rippers on my ds right now, they are great on take off but are cutting my power on the hill. I was thinking of doing a 22 inch with 5 rippers and 5 extremes. Or should I do haulers and gliders? I had haulers on my DS when it was stock and shredded them pretty bad. I only ride at St. Anthony, any opinions would be great thanks.

I know a guy running hauler/glider combos on his DS and he likes them alot and he's tried about every paddle combination known to man. Ripper are designed for big HP bikes (100+HP) on 300ft drag tracks and will kill you on the hill. What are your motor mods, weight, etc...

I have an 05 DS650X with TVI's full race built 720, ported head, web 109 cams, tm45 carb. It's been widened by two inches and lengthened by six. Bike weighs around 500 wet, and I weigh 190. I have the sidewinder 520 conversion on it with 15/42 gearing. Like I said I only ride it at the St. Anthony dunes and am looking for a really good paddle setup. How many paddles is the guy you know running? Thanks for the input.
