Angry creaky rear suspension!!!

anyone know how to silence the rear suspension in my 08 outty 650 max?

I've hit it with everything and all I (or anyone else) can hear in the trails is my damn suspension

I think it's coming from the big "torsion" bar (or whatever you call it) that allows the rear end to pivot up & down.

I don't see any grease fittings other then for the drive shaft.

Had the same problem on my '07. Mine was the torsion bar/bearing. Got it replaced and all is well now. I know what you mean with it being annoying. Mine drove me crazy.

Check that out and see if its your problem

I dont know if this will help at all but my 05 DS650 had the same problem, turned out that the top bolt on the shock was the culprit, all it took was loosening it maybe an 1/8 of a turn and no more squeaky. if it has lock nuts give that a try and see if maybe something was just overtightend when assembled.

Same problem on my DS650. I bought a can of Slick 50 Spray-on Grease and hit the top part of the shock with it. Lots of it! Haven't heard it since.

no- it's not the shocks- it's the rear torsion arm. I'd have to remove the rubber caps to get to it.
