Default Renegade 800R or Outty 800???

Hmmm- I'm stressing over which one to buy- I finally sold my rincon and I'm fast track on buying another can-am. Not much to choose from in Mass though. These are all I found- and both said they'd hold'em for me for a couple of days...

A 2008 Rene 800R for $5500 (27" bighorns full skids) or a 2007 Outty 800 for $5k (comes with new 27" itp's on ss rims & plow)

I know the 08 has many upgrades over the 07- but I'm a trail kinda guy so the racks are good to have...

I have till thursday to make up my mind.

I would say go with outlander. If you like woods and enjoy screaming down a trail once in a while, I think thats the best choice. I know there are companies that make racks for th erenegade, but they arent nearly the size of th eoutlanders racks. plus, you can save the $500

I'm leaning towards the outty- but it's hard to give up the upgrades on the 08...!

i have been doing a TON of research. theres a couple aftermarket companies make racks for the rene. they appear to be beefier than the stock outlanders racks.

We got a decent rack off eBay that will hold a couple 2 gallon cans. When we ride the X2 does most of the hauling and toting. The Renegade will leave you covered with whatever you are riding through because of the sport-like plastics. You can buy fender flares for them too. I got a set that will be my oldest son's main Christmas present.

After sleeping on it- I'm pretty sure I'm buying the outty- fits my riding style more then the rene.

Might be the way to go, adding racks, mud flares next will be larger 26" tires, you will be turning the Renegade into a Outlander before long. LOL
