Default Lower Handlebar Vibration.

Hey,

I'm a newer Rider and have a 07' DS650 and the group I hang out with, we go on pretty long rides and alot of the times ill have to take my hands off the bars to get blood back in my fingers. When I first started riding I use to have a death grip on the bars and my hands would numb out in minutes, but now im more comfortable my grip is much more relaxed and my hands still eventually go numb.

Is there A proven setup that will help with this Issue? I've read Pump the bars full of Silicon, pump em full of lead, Inserts, Foam Grips.

This one ste has a full set of Handlebars FASST COMPANY FLEXX HANDLEBARS - OVERSIZED 1-1/8" | MotoSport
those are also pricey, but am willing to take that step if it works.

I'm looking towasrds the board members for Advice! what do you guys use?

Thanks
Darren

I have found that simply adjusting the toe setting on the front end can drastically help with bump steer (assuming that is your problem). From the factory most of the DS's have to much toe-in causing twitchy steering anytime you hit a rut/rock. Try adding a little bit of toe-out by shortening up your tie rods about 1/2-1 turn on each side and take it for a ride.

I have Pro Taper SE - ATV high bend bars with Madd 1.5" Risers. Also got some self tapping bar ends to re-attach the X hand guards. There is very little vibration and very comfortable for all day riding. I put 12 hours in 2 weeks ago and felt pretty good.

thanks for the tips.

I'll check the toe, I had no idea they came toe'd in from the factory.
