Default 800 renegade

I rode my friends for the first time the other day and the power was very impressive.

Does anyone even make a sport quad that will keep up with it??

It is the most powerful sport/utility machine out there. Crazy power available. You actually have to watch it in the corners because of how much it lightens the front end under acceleration. The closest machines are the Arctic Cat 1000 and the Polaris 850 but it will still beat them stock vs. stock by a little. Top speed numbers I've read, or heard about on GPS are up near 77mph. Not many places you can get up to that speed.

Love my Renegade on the trails and it's great at the dune. I had it out today in the sand and top speed was 72 mph. My son was riding it and I was testing my 86 LT250r with a GSXR engine and blew by him at over 85mph in 5th gear. Never made it to 6th gear run out of room.

sooo- your lt250r has a GSXR motor in it? That sounds pretty sick! What size is the gsxr motor?

I don't think I've ever driven over 55mph on my rene 800x - Like moose says above, it likes to wheelie around corners if you're not paying attention. You have to be 100% focused when riding that rene at high speeds (or any atv I guess) because it does like to jump out and it'll surprise the crap out of you!

When I first got my rene 800x I kept pulling the front end up roosting out of corners- it amazed me how easy it would pull up- especially for a 600lb atv + rider!
