The DS have such a heavy top, and with a tall rider (6'4") it feels tippy. But, I don't want to sacrifice too much ground clearance, so, the pictures would be greatly appreciated. And the tire size, for that matter.

After I get the shocks on I will take some pics. I have 22" paddle tires on the back and 21" on the front. I may have to email pics to someone and they can post them. I have never posted pics before.

As I recall from the old days of people lowering their DSs you may want to look at raising the upper chain roller. I think there was a post about this 5 or 6 years ago.

Don't you think that by raising the upper chain roller, you risk hitting the engine support tube that the chain roller "protects"?

Also, waiting on the pictures... It must look sick

You will find that lowering the DS eventually it wheres out the chain guide and eventually starts eating into the engine support tube...seen alot of them like that but they seem to stop after they make their marks/cuts..
