decisions, decisions.

Top speed might be over-rated but power is not. Where I go, it often exceeds 10,000 feet. At that elevation, it feels like it subtracts 100cc's from your engine. Then fully load your racks with camp gear and tow a small trailer and your down another 100 cc's or more. Now add a boned-out elk and your down some more. Then it snows while you're trying to get all that stuff out and you'll feel like you're lugging everything in a handcart if you bought the 400 cc engine.
Or, if you occasionally ride sand dunes with a sport/ute, the big bore engines make it fun and the 350 Big Bear would make it a chore.

hehe - trust me tlc- you could have your 350 throttle pinned to the bar and I'd be a little blip 1000' in front of you on that trail if you were on a 350-
maybe in a real tight trail you could stay pretty caught up on a 350- but as soon as you come to a section like in the video, or even a semi-wooded trail- that 350 ain't got nothing on a rotax 800! (or any big bore atv) By the time that 350 motor rpm goes from 3200 to 4800 rpm- I'd already be 200' ahead
