Default DS650 wheels

I bought a used wheel to replace the one on my '01 ds650. It said it fit years 00-07. However, the deep part of the rim is the opposite way of what's on there now. It goes back towards my a arms. Is this right or which way is? Either I need to replace the other side to match or take this one back...

The deep portion of the wheel is where your fit inside to protect them. Depending on where you ride you could have the offset either in or out. Some folks reverse it to widen the stance. Dunes-no problem. Woods and trails-I'd keep everything protected. Kind of a personal preference as to how you want to run them.
I would make them match though!

That makes sense. I was just afraid they'd rub on the steering/suspension hardware. I will mainly be riding in the woods, but I haven't seen any rims on eBay like what I have in there now. I guess I will search for one like I bought. Thanks for the help!
