My DS mfg. date is 11/99. I did ask if there are any other up dates to mine, they said no. All the other ones were done prior to purchacing. The only recall notice I reiceved was about an e-clip possibly not installed corectly, this was back in May 2000.

what is a campaign recall? what does it cover?

Scooby..I had seen some of it but not the entire thread. I wonder why some receive questioners and bulletins and some don't? I bought the 2000 shop manual before the 2001's would have been out. It's ok but not great, it could use more detail(s). The parts manual sounds like a good idea to get.

all ds 2000 model from serial #00008 to 2907 have to be done on warranty , no cost to you.campaign# 2000-00007.
