Ok update....I have ordered big gun cdi, billet aluminum exhaust tip, Dyno jet kit, and a 14 tooth front sproket. I also ordered a size 40 air jet for the Carb. I did the omr Carb mods. But I guess I'm wondering about jetting. Right now it has 165 main with the needle in 3rd groove from top. Air box open. Air screw out 3 turns. And ride at 7k ft. Any help?

Sounds like you're on your way. Mine is mostly stock and I have a 14 tooth and might go up to a 15. It will give you plenty of low end but than you will feel less top end. Maybe with the new cdi it won't matter but I feel like I'm hitting the rev limiter too quick. Been looking at the Ron Woods CDI myself.

you will have drivability problems if you are not jetted close. popping, stumble, backfire, etc... You will probably have to jet up with your exhaust tip. I had to go from a 165 to a 175 with my DIY exhaust tip and the OMR mods, but I'm also at 1,100 feet.

Where did you buy the size 40 air jet? I need to get one as it runs a little lean at WOT.
