3/8th's or an inch toe out is the ideal setting as far as I've found. I've done alot of testing and adjusting to find this setting. Hope it works for you too.

ok, I have not adjusted my Toe Out yet and I'm getting confused here. Is it Toe out that should be adjusted? Could someone explain the process briefly to me once more. Thanks guys. newdsowner.

Acording to the manual you run a straight edge from your rear tires up past the front tires, then measure(with the handle bars straight)the distance or difference off the straight edge to the front tires. You than ajust the tie rods to the proper tow-out,and I am assuming that you measure from the sidewall(or wheel)of the front part of the tire in comparison to the sidewall rear part of the front tire, not from the left front to the right front There seems to be alot of variables though like front tire(or wheel)sizes being taller than stock, rider on,verses rider off.The manual gives specified length for the tie rod to be ajusted too, seems to be a good starting point. It probably would have been better if I had ajusted mine with the stock wheels & tires instead of the after market ones.just my two cents

I think I'm going to follow your lead and try those same settings to see what I come up with. You definatly sound like you know what you're talking about. Posts like this are what make these forums work so well. I appreciate you taking the time to share your findings.

Hey thanks for the info, it looks like we are gonna have nice weather this weekend so I'll be able to dial in my DS. I agree, info like this makes these forums very interesting.
